Lubna Latif, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant serving patients at the Connecticut Skin Institute in both Stamford and Milford, CT. Lubna provides a variety of medical and cosmetic treatments, with special interests in skin cancer management, photodynamic therapy, skin tightening, facial rejuvenation, and laser treatments. She is passionate about educating patients on preventative medicine and enhancing one’s natural beauty.
Lubna earned her undergraduate degree from Fairfield University. Her love for dermatology sparked after working alongside Dr. Ibrahimi as a medical assistant. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Sacred Heart University. During her clinical training, she completed rotations in family medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, psychology, obstetrics/gynecology, and internal medicine. She completed her elective in Dermatology at the Connecticut Skin Institute. After finishing her graduate degree, she obtained her certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and became a licensed Connecticut physician assistant.
Lubna has published in the Journal of American Academy of Physician Assistants, and completed her graduate thesis on the use of pulsed dye lasers for the treatment of port wine stains.
Lubna stays on top of the latest research and dedicated to the profession by being an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
