How can excessive sweating be treated?
We understand that excessive sweating can cause significant anxiety and embarrassment as well as disrupt social, professional and even simple daily activities. A Board-Certified Dermatologist can help you control excessive sweating. Before treatment begins, it is important to figure out and avoid any triggers, such as spicy foods, alcohol, or stressful or otherwise emotional situations, that might worsen the condition. A range of therapies are available, from over the counter topical options to oral medications to invasive procedures (such as Botox). Treatment depends on the location and severity of sweating.
