Basal Cell Carcinomas (BCCs) are cancerous growths of the skins basal layer of cells. BCCs often look like open sores, red patches, pink growths, shiny bumps, or scars. They are commonly caused by a combination of sun exposure. BCCs can grow to massive sizes and be highly disfiguring if untreated. BCCs occur mostly on sun exposed areas of the body.
